Antique Welsh Cupboard

The Antique Market offers this solid oak welsh cupboard imported from the United Kingdom...  The back is crafted from tongue and groove bead board... Solid brass drop pulls on 3 drawers and eight panel doors... A full 6 feet in width... Circa 1920s.  $2195.

 

Governor Winthrop Secretary Hutch Bookcase

This beautiful secretary  dates from 1920's to 1930's and is solid mahogany. Although Governor Winthrop died in 1649, this secretary has been associated with his name because of the Winthrop Furniture Company of Boston. The secretary has 13 individual panes of glass on each door. (Most people swear by the 13 colony fable.) It also has the classic 18th Century split pediment cornice and is American made. The middle section has 8 document holes, 5 smaller drawers,  2 secret drawers and one door in the center for storage. The bottom has 4 drawers with original pulls. It has claw feet on both front and back of legs. This piece would make a great addition to your home. We offer this piece at $1495.

Primitive Blanket Chest

This lovely primitive chest dates from the mid to late 1800s...  From the Lancaster, Pennsylvania area, it features it's original paint and patina with hand dovetailing along the corners.  A small glove box is found inside the chest as you raise the top... In excellent condition for its age... Priced at $695.

Antique Stacking Bookcase

This is an exceptional stacking bookcase originating from Cardiff, Wales and in its perfect condition. Marked by the selling company "PE Gane, Queen Street" Each stack has its original wavy glass. The five stacks together measures 33 1/2 inches wide and 6 feet 2 inches in height. This piece is crafted in oak and probably circa 1920. The Antique Market offers this 5 stack barrister bookcase for $2175.

Antique Oak Wall Telephone

This solid oak wall telephone was manufactured by the American Electric Telephone, Company in Chicago in the early 1900s... Such examples in fine condition are becoming more difficult to find... Priced at $575.

 

 

Sail Brothers Lamp

This is a Six Paneled Amber Slag Glass Table Lamp manufactured by the Sail Brothers in the early 1900s. It is in excellent condition with its original matching base marked with the Sail Brothers identifying sail boat mark. All six panels of slag glass are in perfect condition, although there is a small piece of metal filigree missing on the shade. This lamp has been rewired for safety.  Priced at $975.
